The Royal Oak Garden Club, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Public Charity.

Royal Oak Garden Club (ROGC) was formed in 1932 and joined the Federated Garden Clubs of Michigan and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. in 1934. The Federated Garden Clubs of Michigan, Inc. became Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc in June 2005.

The Club exists to create, promote and further interest in horticulture, gardening, floral and landscape design, plant and animal life and appreciation of the natural beauties of the State of Michigan. Educational events such as lectures, workshops, field trips and other opportunities are offered throughout the year. We believe that with knowledge of the natural world we can impact our climate and community in healthy and vibrant ways.

Our organization is operated wholly by a network of dedicated volunteers. In support of this powerful group, we offer multiple social gatherings especially throughout the summer months for social time, appreciation and networking among members. Member mingle is the word and friendship is the goal.

Membership is open to any adult interested in gardening, you do not need to be a Royal Oak resident. Annual membership dues are $25/person or $40/couple and are collected in May. We do accept membership applications at any time. General meetings are held the second Monday of most months September through June. Persons interested in joining are welcome to attend a membership meeting. Go to the Calendar link to view membership meeting schedules as well as other events.
